Tony
Sansevero received
his art education at Massachusetts College of Art, in Boston.
He
currently runs Magical Ideas, an illustration studio in
Austin, Texas, where he creates a diverse array of art and illustration for kids' books, magazines, book covers, greeting cards, portraits,
and private commissions.
Although
he works with a large variety of freelance illustration, he specializes
in children's art. He has illustrated over 15 books and teen novels, including
Bruce Covilles I Was a Sixth-Grade Alien series, Sing,
Henrietta, Sing! by Lynn Downey, and Donna Guthries The
Secret Admirer. He is an award winning fine artist as well.
Mr.
Sansevero is a member of the Society Of Children's Book Writers and
Illustrators, and has lectured in numerous schools and organizations
on the joys of illustration.
He loves cooking, hiking, tree climbing, Halloween, animals, books,
good theater and bad horror movies.
He dislikes cottage cheese.
